Smiley Steps CPC Kent
      Volunteering

CPC Kent welcome any type of help that people are willing to offer...  So if you live in the Kent area and have any spare time, there are plenty of ways you could help us:

Help at the centre

We are always looking for volunteers to help us at the centre.  So can you offer any of the following services?

Charity Shop

Can you offer any spare time to assist in our new charity shop in Rainham, Kent? If you enjoy a customer focused environment where you can turn your hand to various tasks - from window dressing, assisting customers with purchases, serving customers, sorting stock etc....then we need your help today!

Administration
Plenty of help is needed in our busy, friendly offices.  If you enjoy answering the telephone, using a computer and helping with general office duties we can certainly use your skills, so don't hesitate - come and join us.

Housekeeping
If you enjoy dusting, hoovering, pottering in the garden or any other household job, this is the place for you.  We are very flexible and support is given at all times, so why not join us today.

Services
If you would like to assist one of our services; Smiley Steps, Life Skills Group or Day Centre with support such as: setting up or packing away of equipment, one to one assistance, assisting the group with arts and crafts, refreshments, lunches, or the like then we need your help as soon as possible.

Please download our volunteer application pack, then complete and return to Jodie Cook (Personnel Officer) with a cover letter outlining the type of support you would like to offer.

Help us raise funds

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with fundraising events. Volunteers also often have great ideas for raising funds from their own communities and work places. Why not become one of these dedicated and motivated individuals yourself?

Organising or helping at events
Volunteers are always needed to organise their own events or help at those that have already been organised.  If you would like to be involved with events is any way, the please contact us without delay.

Collection boxes
CPC Kent can never have enough collection boxes out in the community. Each one raises awareness about the charity as well as generates funds.  If you can place and collect the boxes in your local area from newsagents to restaurants, please let us know.

Encourage your school or company to support CPC Kent
Perhaps you'd like to encourage your company or school to adopt us as your chosen charity and organise fundraising events in aid of CPC Kent.  We can support you in this and enjoy working in partnership with people in our community; so would love to hear from you.

If you would like to help raise funds for CPC Kent in any of the above mentioned ways or perhaps in any other way then please contact Jodie Cook (Personnel Officer) on 01634 220120 for more information.
